Just returned from the annual HFTP show in Atlanta and thank you to all the customers who stopped by our booth to say hello. It is always nice to see the faces of people that I e-mail or speak to on a regular basis.
This has been a very exciting summer and fall for our company. As most are aware, in August we acquired the Back 9 Links company and have integrated their product with our ClubSoft Office system. The integration allows for seamless information flow from the member website to the back office accounting, complete with POS integration with the reservation system. In this short period of time we already have 10 clubs who have converted their current member websites to the new On-Line Community and we have another 12 new clubs using it. The integrated reservation system has proven to be a powerful addition to Clubs looking for ways to drive more activity to club events.
We also just wrapped up our summer learning user group sessions and have had a number of follow up demonstrations of our new On-line Community product. Beginning in November we will resume our Bite size learning with the first class falling on next Tuesday November 1. These sessions will focus on the new SP1 release as well as the features of the upgraded On-Line Community. So far 95 of our clients have upgraded to the 5.3sp1 release. This release has done much to clean up some of the small but nagging items that have been around. It is also the first release that has been a result of the input from our advisory board. If your club has not upgraded then I would suggest you contact support or click on the upgrade link on the website to register your club for the new release. It takes less than an hour to be upgraded.
Once again we would like to thank our customers who have been so supportive of ClubSoft. I hope you feel a sense of pride and comfort as you watch our company grow and be successful in a market that has other technology vendors struggling to retain their client base.
